I already own one of these 6900-series, and it’s been rugged and dependable. I got this one because it’s solar powered and multi-banded. These 6900’s basically serve as my “second watches” because I don’t have to worry about them taking a beating.Although these are made in Thailand, they are SHIPPED from Japan (as advertised). The seller does not claim for these to be made in Japan. However, at least they are genuine as they come from Japan. The instructions and tags are in Japanese. The seller was great in that the watch box was encased in bubble wrap and was mailed via Fed-ex from Japan to the U.S. This is not a scam.Overall, I am extremely happy with this watch and will buy again from this seller.Thank you!
