Very comfortable shoe. I'm using it to help me recover from a badly broken pinky toe on my left foot. My doctor said I could either use a boot or just buy some hard-soled shoes, but the shoe options were not attractive and a boot seemed like overkill. I put it on right away and felt relief almost instantly. I'm now able to stand for longer periods of time, and I love that the square toe prevents me from again stubbing my injured toe against jutting surfaces. I wear a women's size 10-11 and I have wide (flat) feet. I ordered the men's large, and the end extends about 1 1/2 inches beyond my big toe, but I actually like it that way, although some might prefer a closer fit. I'm a bit clumsy as I limp about, so I feel like my injured toe is better protected with the extra length. I would definitely recommend this shoe to others, and I would purchase again, as the materials seem very sturdy and it is well-made. I love the price, too. Quite reasonable for something I will only wear for a few weeks.

I've been struggling with an aggravated turf toe injury that won't seem to heal over the past two months. After trying a couple of shoe inserts that didn't help much, I purchased this post-op shoe to help immobilize the foot as recommended by my physician. The shoe has been comfortable and allows me to get around without worrying about accidentally stressing my toe while it heals. The velcro straps allow for it to be adjusted to accommodate a bandage, but I've been wearing it with just a sock and it still fits fine. The insole is a firm foam that is supportive without being too hard. I walk 3/4 of a mile each way during my commute in the city, and the shoe has held up well. It's a solid product that serves its purpose well.

Comfortable, easy to tighten straps with a convenient method for keeping extra strap length out of the way. Comfortable to walk in with a nice tough sole and solid construction so it won't fall apart after a week. The toe is made to accommodate either foot so it doesn't look all that great. It spreads out to either side and looks kind of like a short flipper. This ends up being fairly practical though as it has kept my foot straight while walking. The insole Is easy to remove so it can be replaced if the padding flattens after long use.
