NOVICA Hand Carved Natural Acacia Wood Buddha Sculpture, 8" Tall, 'Buddha Laughs'

Excellent piece. Looks fantastic (just like the photo at Amazon). Feels real nice, too, with some weight to it. Not inexpensive (compared to other good-quality little statutes of the Buddha), but worth it. Although the poly-resin / poly-stone Buddha figurines can also be very good, it's nice to have one made out of real wood. High quality. Very pleased. I recommend this item without hesitation.

Yes, I love my Acacia Wood Buddha. He arrived very well packaged, and without damage to the box. And the artist did a marvelous job of capturing him. However, he does have a hairline crack in the base by his left foot that spreads into a wider crack the base about 1/4th across underneath. Possibly happened in transit. Other than a small burr in the middle of his back and this crack in the base, he is perfect. I am very happy with the color and quality of the wood which matches my furniture and other artifacts I have collected, so I don’t want to return it and subject him to more stress in shipping. And besides, I am well satisfied overall. I totally recommend this piece.

Of all the purchases I have made from Amazon this is by far one of my favorites. Excellent craftsmanship, good material, very solid. I was so pleased when I opened the package. Could feel that good, positive energy from my “Laughing Buddha” at first sight. Of course I rubbed his belly for luck. He is a welcomed addition to the household. EXCEPT, I did not receive the “official” NOVICA authenticity card with the backstory of the artisan. That is disappointing. Otherwise, what a great piece. I had been looking for just the right one for quite some time.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He opened it last night and we were both very pleased with the purchase. There aren't any rough spots at all on this piece. It is beautifully carved and the color of the wood is amazing. If you are thinking about purchasing think no more. I will gladly order a Novica product again in the future.

I purchased this as a gift because it mentioned a certificate card in conjunction with National Geographic. The first item came with a crack in the base and no certificate. After returning for a replacement, the second item came with no certificate as stated in the description. I am returning this and getting a refund.

I just love my Buddha! I was surprised at the quality and beauty. It is just gorgeous! This is my second one. I will be ordering a third one when my daughter finishes moving to Colorado. I can't believe it's so affordable. It takes awhile to get here, but it's worth the wait. I am very, very happy with my purchase.

It' wasn't fast delivery for a 2 day shipment,it looks nice,i was waiting for it i was so excited, But when i received it today, i was not please. It needs a little more coloring on the beads,plus mine has black mark on Buddha chest, The one on photo looks better then mind...I gave a 3 stars for poor craftsmanship,and delivery,....

What an absolutely beautiful piece of work! Just gorgeous and so animated. It was bigger and heftier than I expected, but that just meant that it's more prominent in its location (and nobody goes by it without touching it!) I look forward to many, many more years of its blessings. Thank you.
