Excellent resource for undergraduates studying to become primary school teachers
Sons university teacher asked the class to read this to discuss in class. Bought for my son studying to be a teacher, but read a few pages myself and couldn’t put it down. An excellent, informative, emotive book, everyone who works with, or wants to work with disabled people should be made to read this. Very emotional read, had me in tears constantly, but really makes you think.

Disability not Inability
This is an excellent book! My Year 6 students read it every year as part of a unit of study about disability and they love it. It teaches a valuable lesson about how people with disabilities can be viewed and treated, even by those who should know better, and it encourages empathy and understanding.

A review from my daughter (age 11)
"Yes Dad, it was better than 'Wonder'. I was getting angry at myself because it was so good; i couldn't decide whether to finish it straight away or not read as much and make it last longer"For making any child think that about reading i'd give it six stars!

If only the electronic communication systems that can be so supportive to them could be more easily available and not cost thousands to provide
