perfect fit
Was wodering if it would fit - as is would be figure it out. We had to measure and use the template first in order to know where to drill the hole(s). My worker had it done in no time and I was impressed that it went so wel. I lost sleep the night before wondering the "if's" Have used Schledge for decades, but not one with the Dexter name. The cost was less than my previous one. The color was spot on.

this is a great schlage derivative, keyed from both sides, deadbolt.I rekeyed mine, and installed according to best practices. It functions flawlessly. I have other Schlage door locks, I can use the same key across all of them including this Dexter.The reviewer stated he had to leave the key in on one side, to unlock or lock the other side, has incorrectly installed the deadbolt.Other reviews stated that it was finicky, well if everything is not lined up correctly, you can induce some finickiness into any deadbolt.This was the least expensive option for a double cylinder deadbolt that was schlage compatible.I would buy it again.
