Instant glorious flow, no skipping, opaque pens! Not very fine-pointed (1.0mm).
OhMyWord, I'm in love!!! I mean, yes - I'd read all the reviews and expected something good, but these pens? They've exceeded my expectations! They wrote INSTANTLY from the second I put them to paper. The point is perfect for drawing, though may be a bit thick for extremely detailed spots. The colors are pure (the gold isn't too yellow, silver isn't too grey, etc.) and opaque. I LOVE the white pen. It is truly opaque if you don't purposely spread the ink thin.I also like that while the silver and gold are truly metallic, they're not glittered or highly reflective. The silver is more reflective than the gold, as is appropriate! The only negative I've found, to date (haven't actually colored with them yet, just used them on a scratch pad full of marker scratches for color), is that the ink might flow a bit too freely. It may not be a problem once I've used them more and know how to manipulate them better. But, I noticed wherever I picked up the pen from the paper was a thicker dot of ink. Being aware of it, it's easily fixed. But if you're not paying attention and it dries that way then gets touched when everything but the point has dried, I can see it leaving a pit in the middle of the dot. (sorry I can't do a better job explaining it). Also, since they DO lay down so much ink, they take a minute or so to dry (longer if you're doing a thick layer). Those whose pens have arrived rusted, or cracked, any other problems - I wonder if they purchased them directly from Japanese sellers. The pens I purchased were shipped directly from Amazon's warehouse.

These are great
Love Love Love. I’ve used white gel pens for years and these are really good. Opaque color and plenty of flow. All colors equally good.

Great but HEAVY flow!
As my title says...these pens are the big kahuna of the gel pen world and are great pens BUT be warned, they have a very thick and heavy flow. I do not recommend these bad boys for any small detailed artwork as they run like a river, take quite some time to dry, and lay down thick lines. They would be perfect for writing bold titles or something along those lines. The white is good for using as white out if I make a mistake on one of my pictures as it’s not opaque at all. The gold is not my favorite as a shade of gold. It’s a little too bronze or copper or something. It reminds me of a dirty, old church bell color. I don’t know, I just like some other brands of gold I have better. I’d still buy this set again and again because I think it’s an important set to have for any artist and the quality and craftsmanship is top of the line. I highly recommend getting this set! It is a necessity and the price just can’t be beat!

use for detail
I use this in watercolor paintings where I want detail that I can't get with a brush. So far, they work great.

Awesome White Gel Pen!
I heard that this is one of the best white gel pens on the market so I decided to give this pack a go and they did not disappoint. I only draw now and again so I can't attest to how well they last, but it layers over my pens and pencils like a dream. It's a nice opaque white with a smooth even flow that instantly put my Sakura Gelly Roll to shame. There was none, NONE, of that slight bit of clear before the white kicks in. Honestly it goes down a bit like white-out only without that center line. The only reason I'm taking away a star is that, well...it goes down a bit like white-out. In other words, it sits on top of the paper rather than sinking in, making me wonder if it might chip away in time.Honestly if I could give a 4.75 I would. I still highly recommend these pens and I don't regret my purchase in the least. I'll definitely be getting them again when I run out. (Or at least the white. I don't use metallics that often.)

Ink stopped flowing
All three of them stopped working smoothly, when they still have half and more ink left. Disappointed.
