Very moisturizing, and minimal scent. A little goes a long way. Love all of Elemis products.

From a woman in her 30's - works great, a little too pricey for replacing your daily moisturizer
I suppose when the product says "for mature skin", they aren't meaning my 30-something face, but eh, what's the harm? If anything, it'll be more gentle on my rosacea-prone, hormonal acne-prone, sometimes even eczema/psoriasis-prone skin and that's certainly not a bad thing in my book.I've been experimenting on numerous facial products just to find that perfect combination for my skin. My current cleanser is Obagi Gentle Rejuvenation Soothing Cleanser, and I've been enjoying the smooth application and how clean, but how moisturized my skin feels afterwards. In the mornings, following my cleansing routine, I was using the Vichy Idéalia Antioxidant Serum, which did an OK job. Nothing bad, but not something I need to rush out and purchase before I run out of product. And before that, I was using L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Rosy Tone Moisturizer, which worked just as fine as the Vichy Serum at a more reasonable price. After plucking Elemis-Pro from the Vine, I replaced my Vichy moisturizer with this facial oil. I do adore the bottle shape and the dropper is fun - though it's incredibly challenging to get only 4 drops, and I don't feel like I get good coverage on my skin using only 4 drops (I end up wasting so much on my hands). However, the results after a week of using it are really nice - my skin has remained clear of blemishes and redness, and it continues to feel smooth. I haven't noticed any improvement on droopy jowls or facial lines, but then I am in my 30's and don't have a lot of those yet.But let's briefly talk about cost. Right now on Amazon, this is $79 for 0.5 fl.oz. That's a LOT of money for such a small bottle - even using only 3-4 drops per use!My recommendation is to use this maybe weekly or biweekly in addition to your daily moisturizer. I'm going to try that myself, to stretch out the use of this product and see if it's enough to make me want to plunk down $79 for a replacement bottle in the future.
