As the title of the book indicates, it is the first book of Arabic words for learn many objects names that is found in a house. It is a fun little book in English and Arabic to encourage non-Arabic speakers, especially kids to go around their houses and learn many of objects names in Arabic in fun (game likeway)as a confidence builder to encourage them to start learning Arabic. The book assigned each word with a picture and the object name is provided in both English and Arabic. The only reason that I do not rate this at 5 stars, is I would like to see more words....and Amazon does not allow half stars. The number one reason I really like this book is because along with the picture, English word and Arabic word, there is phonetic (English) pronunciation of the word. So if you do not read Arabic, you can still learn what the Arabic word is. Just as a note, this is neither a small book nor a large one. It is very thin, but it is an awkward shape. about 8x9. Some people prefer specific dimensions, and this one is not a normal sized book. I highly recommend this book (and the other "My First Book of ..... Words") for children and beginners of the language alike.

I love this book already. Although, some of the words are written phonetically in a way that I'm not used to. I look forward to reading this with my children.

Excellent book. The only thing is that we have so many different dialects, you have to change some of the words to fit your dialect
