It looks good and the acrylic is strong but I am giving 3 stars because it’s very hard to assemble. The perch is plastic I think they should have made it from natural wood or calcium to be more beneficial for the parrot. Also the door doesn’t stay closed, the clipping of the lock is not made perfectly.

really good travel cage for both our greys, only thing not so good was no food bowls and perch was just thin plastic, but not problem to us just got wood perches and brought small feed and water bowls as addition

I read the reviews before buying mine and there were many saying it was difficult to put together. Thanks for those reviews! It made me aware to be careful and take it slow. Which I did. I can see why people have trouble, but mine went ok and now that it's together I have no reason to take it apart so now it's a non-issue. The other issue is that the closing mechanism is poorly designed and can easily pop open. Very dangerous if your bird is fully flighted. I rigged up a padlock and a ring just the right size and that issue too is well solved. I like the cage because the size is good, it's light and easy to move, has a perch/handle on the top and cleans up easily. Don't drop it. It would not surprise me it it broke and was not fixable.

Der Transport unserer Graupapageien ist immer so eine Sache. In größeren Käfigen kommt es meistens zu Streitereien unter den Vögeln um die man sich im Auto natürlich nicht kümmern kann. Jeder Vogel hat bei uns nun seinen eigenen Käfig und wegen des Plexiglases haben sie auch überallhin freie Sicht. Die Käfige wurden von beiden Vögeln auch ohne Probleme sofort akzeptiert. Leider ist der Tür-Schließmechanismus nicht besonders papageiensicher, weshalb man ihn sichern sollte.Die mitgelieferten Sitzstangen sind aber leider völliger Blödsinn. Sie sind ebenfalls aus rutschigem Kunststoff und bieten den Vögeln kaum Halt. Aus diesem Grunde habe ich sie durch entsprechende Rundhölzer (ca. 2,8 cm Durchmesser) aus dem Baumarkt ersetzt in die ich eine Gewindeschraube mit Flügelmutter eingeschraubt habe - ebenfalls aus dem Baumarkt. Die ursprünglichen großen Unterlegscheiben konnte ich verwenden und somit haben die Vögel jetzt auch jeder eine von ihnen akzeptierte Sitzstange im Käfig. Noch besser wären natürlich Naturäste, doch die hatte ich nicht vorrätig.Also mit ein klein wenig Bastelarbeit eine gute Konstruktion zum Transport der geliebten Krummschnäbel.
