It works but distance is short
Luckily this system works for our cat. We have placed 3 pods in the backyard where she could escape before. The range is barely 2ft radius, just barely enough to keep her out certain areas.

Works well
Bought this to keep the dogs from jumping on the window sill and couches.

Scary but does work
I wish they would have a collar just for cats. This one is scary to use so I rarely use it. The batteries last, but perhaps cause i dont use it so much. But i can say the little he has worn it, he thinks about an area before he goes near the bird, but just long enough to think that he doesnt have it on so I can stare at the bird. He only got the low zap 1x. But I can tell you I tried it and it got my attention. You arent to leave this collar on long, so all I can say is that it has him thinking before stepping. So I'm adding foil & spraying it with butter apple to see if that helps when the collar isnt on. Most buyers will have to trim the neck collar, it's very long. So cut it & use a lighter or match to run the cut edge near the flame to keep it from fraying. You can see the fibers melt so it will not fray. If you get it too close on the flame it will light so just blow it out if it does. Remember melt not burn to stop fraying.

Keeps the minions away.
The collars go beep beep and the dogs turn around. No more darting out the front door. They do not even go to say hi to visitors they stand back and wait.

Saved my sanity
For the longest time, I couldn’t have rugs in my home, because my two male dogs with Mark corners of the rugs. No I was able to put these underneath the dining room table and they won’t even go in the room. Very affective for stubborn bulldogs.

My male dogs were marking all over my house!
We have three adopted dogs and two of them are male. They were constantly competing by marking on couches, drapes, chair legs, basically anything they could lift their legs on. I spent months in training with them hundreds of dollars in vet bills to make sure nothing was wrong with them and over $2000 in professional cleaning bills.I thought I would have to have to crate these dogs forever and then I discovered these pet barriers. I now have them all over my home, and they're very easy to hide under couches and behind curtains etc. The good news is no more leg lifting. Once in a while I will find a NEW spot, but I just put a barrier there and within a week the dogs avoid that area. It's also wonderful that they won't go in my formal living room anymore, so I can have guests over and the dogs aren't jumping all over the furniture and my guests. These have seriously saved my sanity.

These do what they are suppose to do, but ...
These do what they are suppose to do, but the fact that they have to be plugged in presents challenges. I REALLY need a battery version. Also, there is NO WAY to hang them on the wall. It says you can wall mount them, but unless you drill a hole in the back panel and then hang it, you're out of luck.
