Nice little pallet for cheap, would've liked a shimmer option for the bronze

Good color

I am so pale I am almost see-thru so I was a bit worried about ordering the Carter Beauty Mini Bronzer Palette. I use bronzer sometimes as a light bit of contour on more casual makeup days when I don't want to go full glam. I decided to go ahead and order this palette to see if it would work as a casual contour option. I am so relieved to report ordering this bronzer palette was a good choice.Each color in the palette has an almost creamy consistency. It's not cream, but stroke the brush across the colors and the bronzer grips the brush instead of flies away in a powdery poof. The bronzer glides easily across the skin. While it is nicely pigmented it's not so harsh that it deposits too much color on the face at once. That was my fear being so pale. I can't get heavy handy with bronzer. I found each color in my palette to go on easily with a light hand and then build up heavier if need be.I did test it on my neck as an overall bronzer and got the same buildable results.The Carter Beauty Mini Bronzer Palette gets my five surprised stars. I honestly thought this would be too dark for me and go on too heavily. I'm happy I can use it on my casual days when I want a little bit of color and then I can do more layering for a full glam look.

These were a little creamy and harder to apply and blend for me. While the colors may not have been the most flattering for my skin tone, they did provide a cute daytime look. The palette is small so it's easy to carry on the go or for traveling.

I have not used Carter Beauty nor heard of it before it was mentioned by a content creator via Youtube before now. I decided to give quite a few things in this brands lineup a try from blush trio to concealer and foundation. I didn't get around to trying the concealer and foundation yet but as for the blush and bronzer they were a pleasent surprise as I did not expect to like them or for them to show up in color the way they did. I have to hand it to drugstore makeup because they def have been coming out swinging and giving us something worth spending our money on and I have to say I enjoyed this formula. Its easy to blend and it looks nice on the skin.
