Q: Will it keep the cat off the table cloth, counter by the coffee pots?

Didn't work for me. Also, scent lasts only a very short time. Cat mostly responded to the moisture.

Q: Will keep cats from peeing on carpets?

I used it to try to keep my cats away from the screen door, where one is quite destructive. It did nothing.

I didn’t use this on a kitchen tile floor so I cannot advise.

I found it did not keep my cats away from anything! They were afraid of the spray, but a squirt gun worked better!
