Cool toolset for kids, although the drill could be better...
This is a pretty cool toolset for kids. My son is having a lot of fun with it. All the different tools are pretty well made and great for play... but the drill could be a bit better. At first I was pretty down on the drill, it seems very light and fragile compared to my son's other toy drills. And I'll still be surprised if the drill lasts more than a couple months. But after trying it out with my kids build toys, it's actually not bad. Maybe even pretty good. The drill bits are a tight fit on this thing, and a little difficult to change. Maybe that will get better with time, I don't know. Also the chuck comes separate and twists on with a fragile guide lock. And the drill is weak compared to my sons other toy drills. But all that being said, it still works very well, it has just the right drill speed, the speed is adjustable, it looks cool and fits nicely in your hand, and it's VERY QUIET compared to my son's other toy drills which are actually quite loud.So far the best drill by son has is the drill that came with his John Deere Build-A-Johnny Tractor Toy. That drill has some heft, it's bulletproof, and easy to use. Unfortunately, the bits are a bit big for his Step2 and Black and Decker building toys. And the bits can get a bit jammed making it tough for him to change. The second best drill he has is his Step2 drill that came with his Step2 workbench playset. It was the perfect size for my son and was surprisingly strong. However, it only lasted 2-3 months which is why the need for a new drill. Looks like the search continues for a better toddler drill, but for now this will do nicely. And honestly, the price is really good for what you get.But for now, my son is happy.

Broken Backpacks
Very rarely do I complain or leave a bad review. I usually give everyone the benefit of the doubt and I have an incredible amount of patience when a problem arises with something I have order. In this case however, I am compelled to write this review given my experience with this product.I bought two of these sets, one for each of my sons because they love "fixing" and "building" things. Unfortunately, on the 2nd day of owning them, a strap on each backpack and both hooks began to rip and tear. The tearing only got worse in the following days, so much so that now each of the backpacks have lost a strap and both hooks are completely torn so they are unable to be hung up. Now that my sons are unable to carry or hang up their backpacks, I am forced to purchase new and exceedingly more durable backpacks to house my sons' tools set.I had very high hopes for this tool set and my sons were ecstatic when I ordered them. Unfortunately we were let down in the end. Very disappointing.
