Supplies Adjustable Brown Leather Shoulder/Waist Belt Holster for Medieval/Samurai Swords, 38 inches

It will hold a Katana
I had visions of uses for this belt nut not one washer using it for a Katana. None of my broad swords will fit a fully adjusted belt. I feel like calling it a piece of junk but I sure i will one day find a perfect use for it. The leather is thin but quite sturdy and it does have a nice buckle.. Consumer beware. Plan this purchase wisely.

pretty big
big and not the best leather but for the price it was well worth it for a sword holster belt

Virtually unusable.
Where to start?Well, on the plus side, the leather seems of decent quality and it appears to be durable enough. But on the negative side: it strikes me as being absolutely unusable. There is no angle to the loops through which you have to put the sword and, as a result that, the sword does not hang at a comfortable angle either. Not when you are using this device as a belt and not when you are using it as a shoulder sling either. In addition it is not a belt. It is not a continuous loop of leather closed with a buckle it is, instead, two riveted loops of leather, one leading to a tongue and the other to a buckle.Only a sword, or other solid object, going through the two loops keep it is something that you can wear. So, if you were to put an un-scabbard it sword through the loops and wear it is a waist belt once you draw the sword it just falls down [this can happen if you have a scabbard too.] This fact is not entirely clear from the photographs accompanying the item.I wouldn't waste your money on it.

Quality seems okay, but the buckle size is off. Loops around scabbard are adjustible.
I'm no expert on leather but it seems to be of okay quality, not particularly sturdy nor poorly made. My gripe though is the buckle they use could be better quality. It is lightweight, which is okay, but it is small relative to the size of the belt. This causes the scraping and damage to the sides of the belt. The buckle is also on the sharper side, which contributes to the damage. As far as use, I'm still trying to figure it out. It works okay for several variations of side carry but I need to carry it for a longer time to understand the in and outs. If it turns out to particularly better or worse, I'll try to remember to update this review. One good thing to note that the loops are adjustable so in case you have a smaller scabbard that shouldn't be a problem.
