These lights are perfect for above the bed in the guest room. Very nice lamps and easy to install. The only issue is there are knobs you have to turn to adjust up down, or lamp trajectory. I was hoping for more ease of adjusting while laying in bed. Instead you will have to get up & adjust maybe a few times. I kept them & got over the issue. If you were to use them all the time, it could be annoying.

I mean could these have turned out any better?We were so happy with these!They are really easy to install (unless you’re a perfectionist, haha).They surprisingly give off a lot of light.Some people think the chord is an issue, but honestly I got used to it and I don’t notice at all anymore, we used a clear clip and clipped it to the wall behind the night stand.They have the space exactly what we were looking for and cleared our night stands of the bulky lamps.So happy we finally make this project a priority.

When we opened the box both lights look beautiful!! However one of the clips that holds the bulb was already broken. I didn’t think it would be a problem so I put the bulb in there anyway and two days later…pop! The bulb is literally unwinding itself from the holder because it’s too much pressure with a broken clip. I ordered a new set so I can hang up the replacement while I try to fix the broken one. I do really like these lamps and I’m optimistic that I can fix it.

Easy to assemble and looks nice. No hardware or instructions for wall mounting for plug in option. Also it does not move left to right.

I purchased this set as supplemental lighting for my workbench. Based on the description provided, I expected something different than what I actually received. I was hoping for lighting that I could lower towards the work surface as needed, then move them out of the way when not needed and I expected I would be able to dim the lights based on need.With that said, AVOID if you're using LED bulbs. The "dimmer" switch in these lamps, which is just a multi-position switch, works fine in the brightest position, but the LED bulbs flicker like crazy (or don't work at all) in the "low" position. It's not gradual brightness control, but it's a "click (low), click (high), off" - I tried a variety of dimmable bulbs from various manufacturers, all of which work fine using a standard dimmer switch, in these lamps, but none worked correctly.They are advertised as "can swing left to right", but the ones I received would not swing left to right. In fact, mine had an "extra" of unwanted rotation because the pieces are loose (cheap construction). Also, where the swing arm is connected to the back plate was loose on one of the lamps. I tried to gently tighten it, but the threads just stripped.So, if you leave it on in the "high" position, use an external switch or dimmer, and don't try to adjust it or even touch it, they may work for you.Pros:1. They look like the picture2. Easily converted to hardwired powerCons:1. Non functional "dimming" function with LED lightbulbs.2. Does not swing left and right like the description states.3. Annoying to adjust. To change the position of the arm, you have to loosen a joint, position it, then repeat. Since the angle is fixed (after adjusting) on each joint, you will likely go back and reposition additional times to get it "perfect". This setup is more of a "set it and forget it" situation. It wasn't designed for quick/easy adjusting.4. Poor manufacturing. Some parts that should move do not. Some parts that shouldn't move do.So, if you're going to mount it, hard wire it to an external switch (or dimmer), adjust the position ONCE, and then leave it, these may work for you. If you're expecting something that you can adjust as you need, I'd go find something else.

These are installed over bookcases. They look great. We installed 4 and put them on a remote time. They look really good and illuminate the books and items on display. Especially a good buy as similar ones cost a lot more.

Purchased these wall mounted lamps to replace old bedside freestanding lamps. They are good quality and easy to install, I used a shallow surface mounted electrical box to attach to the wall that worked well. No bulbs are included so have some on hand when you install. I looked at many options and this fixture was significantly less expensive without sacrificing features or quality.

We had to do a little modification (no tools required) to get the cord to the back rather than the bottom so that we could run the cord through and behind the headboard. We drilled holes just large enough to fit the plug through the headboard and then attached the sconces to it. We love the look!

These are very nice lamps. I hope ever ordered them for the flat rechargeable lights to go in them for a photo wall and the light doesn't fit so I need something with a wider cone. Other then that exactly as pictured.

They don't come with good instructions, so if you are not handy you may have frustrations. I bought them for bedside lighting. After installing, the bulb base broke inside one of them when it got bumped, but I managed to epoxy it together for now.The dimmer is really just a 3 mode switch, and no flicker LED 60 watt bulbs still flicker when turned on( bright) and full brightness on the 2nd turn of the dial, next turn of the dial turns them off.The adjustable wing nuts need to be manually loosened and tightened to extend etc. so you will want to find the set up you like and leave it there. I wish they came with USB charger on the base. They have a nice cord length. Good value for the money. For aesthetics I chose to use a paintable cord cover to hide the black cord hanging down to the outlet.

Maybe the description is clear to others, but I didn't realize you cannot swing the arm right or left and cannot direct the light right of left either. So it only directs light down.
