It's a world of its own, words and meanings are only derived not from the linguistics of the language but the linguistics of that certain heart. When dance is the movement of the strings between the emotions of the heart through the sense of the body. Raqs : The Dance of Passion by Shaista Yacoob is a dance of her heart through the sense of the ever changing world. This book points everything from desire to love, from Heavens to God and from God to all the attachments and the others.Shaista Yacoob depicted love as a being or a power only starts from him ( Almighty) where everything starts and love is something which could bloom on some and any dry hollow mountains or to blast a plateau without any explosives or fire power needed.Even she welcomes death through her as though, she is meeting a kind travellor; who have travelled with her all along the day and night. She could remember at the end that she isn't fond of memories that aren't ink but she is happy if there is colours parted in many. When she fills in thin light over thick darkness from one anomaly to another, she asks about us kindly; Were we not able to see the good and perfections around us rather tremble and fret over only slight misperfection or that ignorable eye.Rating Class - 𝕾 √Review & Clicks by @abitofmemoryTap Helpful if it is...

Totally mesmerizing
The poet has beautifully expressed the passion of love. There is so much of sufism in her thoughts. Gives a lot of calm and peace while reading though.

Contemporary Poet lit with the candle of Rumi and Shams Tabrizi
Shaista Yacoob shares a contemporary expression of the spirit shared by Rumi's later work. Her poetry reads simply while transporting you into the depths of her passion, thought and heart. The poems shared in Raqs: The Dance of Passion are a wonderful extension of the Sufi tradition with the freshness of a contemporary work. I hope this is the first of many contributions Shaista brings to our time and world.
