DC 12V Aluminum Submersible Water & Oil Diesel Fuel Transfer Pump - 38mm Diameter Refueling

Used for an automatic growing container. Works great! I was impressed, it is able to slowly but surely push water vertically about 1.5 ft with 5/8” ID tubing the whole way. Fit the application well for the pricing.

Works as promised.

This is my third of this model... they have a fairly short lifespan in the mode I use them. I believe they are made for very intermittent use, I often run them as recirculation pumps in my (solar powered) aquaponics. I have yet to find a better value for this application...The best features of this for me are the inline switch and large clips... and the diameter which allows me to drop them into the bungs of 50 gal plastic drums without modification.

This is exactly what I needed for filling the water ballast bags in the wings of my sailplane. The manufacturer has strict limits on the pressure because of the damage that will result if exceeded. This pump provides exactly the correct pressure (5' 9" head). The flow rate is about 3 gallons per minute for very little lift, and it takes me about 3 1/2 minutes per wing (10 gal). It does this consistently time after time. I bought a second one as a spare I was so pleased. Construction is solid. My only problem was that it is so light that I had to tape it to a small shovel to keep the hose from curling up off the bottom of the tank.

I use this pump to pump water from a bucket that I use to catch R/O wastewater (brine) so I can use that water to water my garden. When provided with a 12V output from my battery pack, it draws about 13W (slightly over 1A) and pumps water much quicker than your ordinary battery-powered pumps. The pump works quite well for this specific purpose.However, I do have a few complaints about this particular item:1. The output tubing size was not documented nor a hose was included in the package. That being said, the correct tubing size for this is 1/2" ID x 5/8" OD. You may be able to get other tubing sizes to fit if they have a similar diameter, but that particular diameter was able to fit the barbed output snuggly.2. The clamps attached to the input power wires are simply crimped down without any solder. The metal crimp itself is fairly loose and the wires simply fall out with a simple tug. These can definitely be done better, otherwise, it is quite possible for these to come loose and short something out.3. The pump has no auto-stop functionality, which means you can easily overfill a container if you are not careful. The description has a picture with a hose hooked up to a car. This seems quite dangerous as you can easily overfill the tank and have gasoline ruin your exterior paint, or worse, start a fire if the gasoline vapors are ignited after a spill.

Pump was used as a water transfer pump from a 5 gal jug to RV tank. Worked great when it worked. Only used a couple times to transfer 30 gals into my RV. Third time the black plastic ends came loose so I superglued back on. Pump was seized on next use and not by superglue. I think when the black end pieces came off it lost water tight integrity. When Not well made though looks like it by appearance.

This makes refilling my tractor and diesel heaters so easy. I drop the end into the 55 gallon barrel and hook the wires to the battery. In a few minutes, my tank is full and the turns it off again. Worth every penny.

This pump was smaller than I expected. However, it definitely packs a lot of pump in that small size. They claim 12L/minute flow rate. I tested it while pumping out my 8’ diameter livestock tank and was getting right at 3 GPM. I was using a 230 CCA lawnmower battery and it ran it full flow for about 1 1/2 hours. Great product for the price!
