Junk... Easyies thing to say
I bought this two weeks ago. I hooked it up and used it to run the Electric jack to make sure it worked and did. I used it again at the campground last weekend for the same reason 6/27/2019..Today 7/7/2019 i went to open the slid out and no power at all Yes i did a circuit test on both of them and showed a poor circuit on both So i unhooked the switch and hooked the battery directly to the camper, jack works just fine. this is my second one in two months THEY ARE JUNK DO NOT BUY THIS SWITCH..I'm looking for a new one and hopefully it work's more than two or three time's

Easy install & works great!
So easy even a girl can do it ! ๐๐ Total install with box modification was about 20 minutes, start to finish. Ran it on the negative side.

Good switch for car battery.
Switch works great. I mounted this on a 2003 Highlander with a parasitic electrical draw. Now I can switch off the battery from the grill.I used it with battery cables and a battery post mounted blade switch also available on Amazon.Switch key stays secure when switched to the ON position. Removable when in the OFF position. I spray painted it black so it would blend into the grill better than the red.Very happy with the results.

Works As Intended So Far
Before I get into the brief review, what the HECK is "Sheerness" as a Rate Feature??? I have seen enough of these irrelevant Rate Features on many products to wonder if the person selecting them for the product knows which product they are talking about. On to the review... I mounted the "Kill Switch" on top of a 12 volt battery box intended to be used as a backup portable power source for low wattage items. I haven't really had a chance to use it yet for the purpose for which it was constructed. But the switch does work properly as it was designed. It provides a means to "break" the circuit until it is ready to be used. Should anything develop in the future, I will update this review accordingly.

Be ware! cheap material and very thin connector
Looks good and sounds like should work based on the stud for at least 200A. But but, with only 40A pass through, it got very hot on both studs pretty quick. With 150A, it melted the plastic. All other components on the circuit are cool to touch except this switch. That tells everything. I bought three of these, only found out it was junk after my recent RV trip. Was able to return one (recently bought trying to replace the melted one). If you know anything about electricity, you should know what a hot connector means.
