OK
It's hard to find nice, youthful boots for my son with a little color or fun factor, even though he's only 7 1/2. Nothing cute comes in his size anymore, but I don't want something workmanlike and adult looking. The other issue is finding a pair of rain boots that holds up to the wear and tear of a very active boots. It seems that most brands crack at the seam sooner or later. These looked better online than in person--the color is sort of darker and more blah and the material more rubbery feeling (more pliable than the thick vinyl we're used to from his old kiddish style boots) and it does have that odd smell that other reviewers mentioned. Not a bad smell, per se, vaguely sweet, but not exactly delicious. Anyway, I figured I would leave it up to my son whether he liked the boots and wanted to keep them, and when he saw them, he was happy with them. I hope they hold up. Will update if they don't.

Amazing!
I ordered 9 little kid hoping it was a toddler 9 and it is, my son fits just right is shoes size 9.5 and was hoping the boot ran big and I believe it's right there next to size 9.5. In picture I have it next to a new balance 9.5 wide , my son does not have a wide foot but I choose to get him wide to give him toe room. When he was one I purchased bogs and they where great and all but who wants to pay 50 for rainboots? I got these for 7 dollars and are just as flexible and soft and have better traction than bogs

Too small
They are nice looking & seem like a good quality. I m confused on the size though ordered a size 6 men's & it is similar to a size 4 boys. I will be giving them to someone else whose foot is smaller. I didn't see the size listed on the bag or boots. I m not sure I recieved the right size

These run large, but great quality.
These run large. The green soled boots are Walmart brand size 5 that my son has outgrown, the white soled are the new Stormtracks size 6. Quite a bit of size difference--but also better quality than the green. Note these also have a toe-off knob at the heel for easy removal. I'm keeping the size 6 for a few reasons: he can double up socks this winter, I can wear them, and they'll still fit him in 6 months. That said, I recommend buying a size small--I may still get a size 5 for a better fit.

Great value and sturdy
I bought these for my 8 year old son. They feel like really good quality rubber. They are pretty light, in spite of being thick. I tried them on and they were really comfortable. I'm not sure how warm they will be. They're not lined or insulated. But, I suppose with some thick warm/wool socks, they'll probably do well.

Bought for my 10 year old son
These are overall nice boots for the price. I bought them for my son which wears a size 6 1/2 youth boys. After reading other reviews that said to size down I bought a 5 and they fit almost perfect. These boots are more like adult women sizes so keep that in mind when ordering your size. As for the quality, they have held up to my son wearing them almost daily and no leaks yet

Good boot, problem with sizeing
Last fall I bought a pair of these (size 6) for my granddaughter and they've been perfect in every way. Very sturdy, nice fit. So now that she's outgrown them and her rapidly growing little toes are smashing against the front, I went ahead and bought the next size up (7). As soon as I got them out of the package I thought they looked like the exact same size as the 6s. When I held the soles perfectly together they WERE the same size; exactly the same size even though the stamped size number on the boot is 7! So I returned them and ordered 8s. I hope the 8s aren't way too big. We'll see.Summer '14The size 8 was too big but I saved them for later because I really like these boots. Unfortunately my son moved his family away so I don't know if I will need them here...we'll see...

I love these rainboots - I finally don't have to hop ...
I love these rainboots - I finally don't have to hop over puddles when it's raining, they're perfect! Some of the other reviewers mentioned that these run a little large, and I would agree - try to buy a half size or possibly full size smaller, depending on the socks you would be planning to wear. I'm just barely a size 5 in women's, and usually fit 3 in kids, so I ordered these in a 3 and they were a little large. Nothing an extra pair of thick socks can't fix, but I would probably buy a size 2 if I bought them again.
