high quality
I've had several olympic bars over the decades. I've either sold them or given them to family. I needed a bar a bit shorter to fit the space I have and I bought this one. Yeah, I know. It's a girls bar but who cares. I'm 66 years old and doubt that I'll ever be lifting much over 400 lbs anymore. I'm fine with the noticeably smaller diameter bar; it may even be a plus for my aging grip. The spin and whip is good. The knurling is just right and the overall finish is the best I've seen. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this bar to anyone with limited space. The available space for plates is a bit less than standard so if you're using bumper plates it could limit the maximum amount you could load.

excellent barbell, confirmed 10 bearings, wish the knurling was more aggressive
the barbell weighs exactly 44lbs on my bathroom scale. the knurling is a bit too smooth, i wish it was a little more aggressive. i removed the sleeves and confirmed that it has 5 needle rolling bearings on each sleeve, for a total of 10 bearings per barbell (see photos). this is an excellent barbell for the price. the only negative is the packaging because they used only plastic tape to seal the ends, and one end broke through during shipping causes the end to get all smashed up. five star product, one star packaging.

Raise the bar.
This was a present for the wife. It is a great bar. A little narrower, slightly smaller diameter and about 10lbs lighter than an Olympic bar. I find that I can produce a bit more inertia and control micro-adjustments better on this bar due to the decrease width. Its an interesting sensation that has encouraged my intensity with all the lifts I've used it for. The quality is outstanding. The finish is flawless. Great details on the bering caps. Knurl marks feel great. Berings are tight. Haven't loaded a ton of weight on it but there's no reason to suspect anything less than the rated weight capacity. Awesome price for a quality piece of equipment.

Loadable sleeve is only 12 inches really less as it is just 12 inches of sleeve
Loadable sleeve is only 12 inches with no room for even a spring clamp. So yeah pretty disappointed on that Thought I had an extra inch of room. Already have a Chrome 6 ft bar that cost less than half the price of this bar has a 11 inch loadable sleeve. I'm Loading large bumper plates so 2 inches is another large plate but 1 inch is barely worth the extra cost, as anything 25 lbs or above will not fit with only an extra 1 inch wanted to add another 45 or 55 if it just fit. Also quality is not really any better than the 6 ft bar. So high price and lack of advertised sleeve length gives it a 3 star. If you need the extra sleeve length my advice is get a 7 ft bar most cost less and give 15 inches of sleeve length or more. I was trying to save some room at my place tight quarters not sure it was worth the cost at this point. 6 ft worked well I just wanted to add another large bumper plate but that's not happening with this bar. Sure tested at 1000 lbs but can't load over 400 lbs with bumper plates.

NOT 44lbs
Claimed to be 44lbs. It actually weighs 40lbs. Makes me wonder about how inaccurate the other stats they claim could be. Funny thing is, I asked a question on the product before buying "bar seems to good to be true for the price, are these stats accurate?" Company replied yes, all accurate... Now I'm stuck with the hassle of returning this huge thing. This is what I get for not investing in a reputable company like rogue.

Great bar for those needed a slightly smaller one
Seems like a great bar. I think it may be geared towards women but it works for what I need. It’s slightly smaller than a regular Olympic barbell. The distance between the collars is slightly shorter and the loading part is also shorter. I needed a smaller one because I have a smaller workout area and I’ll NEVER max out the loading portion. Great bar...no complaints so far.

Excellent bar for the price.
Considering that nearly all home gym equipment is priced quite a bit higher than normal during the pandemic, this is a good value for the cost. Fit and finish is nice, and the spin on the collars is smooth. It's definitely a step up from the CAP Beast barbell I had previously. I highly recommend this bar to anyone that wants a perfectly functional barbell at a fraction of the cost of some of the better known brands.
