My wife originally bought this for herself and she uses it a bit. Ive actually commandeered it recently and have been using it on various muscles immediately after heavy weight lifting. I've actually found it really useful for small fine tuning motions after a hard workout. My favorite is after a hard chest workout I like to finish it of with a couple 30 seconds sets micro flye sets to really hit the center of my chest. I wouldn't suggest using this as a primary workout device by any means, but it has plenty of benefits as a supplemental exercise.

Well made; sturdy but not uncomfortable - pad inside and out. Comes with a CD of exercises, some of them impossible for me to do but gives me plenty of ideas. My Physical Therapist uses this as part of my rehab to do thigh squeezes while laying on my back. I will put this to good use as you can also use if to do chest/arm exercises by squeezing it. The exercise variations are endless - if you don't find one you like on the CD, you can probably think of a few to do on your own.

The circle is easy to use and is not too heavy or too firm. Along with doing Pilates moves, I have also been using it to strengthen my ankle and foot muscles after a recent injury, approved by my physical therapist. The included video is very useful, especially if you are new to using this type of equipment. All in all this has proven to be a very useful tool in my recovery and for all over toning. Recommended.

This piece of equipment seems sturdy and long-lasting. The only problem is that the curved pads on each side are uncomfortable when held against the inside of the knees (pads feel hard and the edges dig into my skin).

Great little product. I like to use it while I watch television. It works better than weights for me. Love it.

This Magic Circle is easy to use and fun too. You can do most of it in a very small space. I put the DVD into my computer and follow it in my home office. The DVD takes you through every exercise. It is also easy to do only as much as you can until you build up some stamina. It is entertaining as well as educational. A real bargain for the money.

Very good quality - sturdy and resilience good. I didn't mind the CD that came with - learned a few more exercise 'moves' but wish you could buy one without - would have purchased two-Pilates rings are a great accessory that dumb bells and bands can't replace which adds to your total body work out.

I have been doing intro Pilates for 7 months and will be traveling for the next few, so I wanted to get a ring to take with me and keep up some of the workout. I saw from other reviews that while the DVD wasn't that great, they were happy with this, and it had Prime Shipping vs. the $10 5-7 day shipping on the one from Balanced Body so I thought I'd try it. The handles are good, the padding is good, but the resistance is substantially less than the one I use in class. Perhaps if you are just starting, it would be a good fit or recovering from an injury. I'm not exactly muscle bound and I can compress it fairly easily. I've ordered the one from BB but I doubt it gets here before I hit the road, so this one will likely come with me and I'll just up the reps I guess. May keep it as a back up or let my daughter take to college when the other one gets here. When I read in other reviews "good for beginners", I figured that was me, just 7 months in on a pretty modest routine adapted to avoid aggravating certain back issues but I need more resistance. The price isn't much less than the BB version, so if you aren't in a rush to get one, I'd go with the Balanced Body one. I'll know better once I get it here, but I think (hope) its the one my instructor has.
