Ekone smoked oysters
Ekone smoke oysters farmed, raised , canned in Washington state - not Asia. My husband is a huge smoked oyster fan. I purchased a 6pk for one of his Christmas gifts. He LOVED them. They are larger than the Asian canned oysters - and as others have reported, there are some pieces and whole oysters - between the size of a quarter and 50cent piece - instead of the nickel sized of others. He says they taste better than others, the texture is better and just over all better across the board. Cost? Yes, they are expensive. But - quality and made in the USA is just better across the board for many reasons. So - I'm gonna buy them again. They have several flavors and even mussels. I plan to purchase other flavors as well as the traditional. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I receive/accept NO free products or discounts that are not available to all shoppers- ever. For some reason our shopper ranks are no longer visible - so, to give you a little more info about me, I am a top 50 reviewer (#30 the highest rank achieved). Those numbers used to fluctuate over time - up and down but I noticed that they stopped updating regularly - perhaps to phase them out. It's a shame because it did help you see who has been around the longest and who is a trustworthy reviewer. I've been doing reviews for over 25 years with Amazon - over 6,000 reviews posted, those reviews have been viewed well over 50,000 times, including over 24,000 likes. Bottom line, I pay for all my stuff, just like you do.

Best Ever
Great flavor, large and meaty oysters. Better than Otter kingdom and Crown Prince hands down...Worth the price.

Worth the money
I've never written a review, but I have to on this product.I did a lot of research and Ekone came out #1. First off, I got a variety (6 of every kind). I've always been a fresh raw oyster person, with COVID I'm not eating out anymore. So I wasn't sure if I'd go for the canned stuff. It had to be clean, clean, clean, and my research says these were.Next, I wanted them to be delicious. These are my favorite, but every kind is great! Last night, I didn't have crackers so I mixed in almonds and pumpkin seeds. Wow! Crunchy, salty, fab.My advice is if they are too expensive for you, buy them less often. Keep in mind they are from Washington State so they are going to be of higher cost, but the standards are also higher. The taste is simply fantastic and the oysters are large. What's not to like?

Bad oysters
All chew. No meat. Spit out wads from a 13 dollar can.

Good but pricey
I’ll admit these are the best smoked oysters I’ve ever had. I want to reorder but price is definitely an issue. More than $10.00 per can???

Special oysters, not everyday ones
There is a world of difference between these tins and the ones costing two to four dollars. The oysters are large, dense, smoky, and meaty - I find myself cutting them into smaller pieces. The tin isn't full of oil. They are expensive, no doubt. I keep these on hand as well as the kind I can get at grocery stores. Some days, you just want something tasty to eat. But other days, you want to treat yourself to something special. These are for the latter.
