This is very useful to check baby's weight progress and peace of mind especially for those breastfeeding and might be second guessing their baby's progress. I wish I had bought this earlier for my other kids, this serves us well for the new baby.

We found this to be very useful and we use it, every day. The weight stablizes, quickly, despite the baby moving around.

I ordered this scale to keep track of my baby's breast milk intake. The only way to know how much baby is eating is to weight baby before and after feeding. To do this, I needed a scale precise to the gram. This gives the weight down to the gram so I ordered it and figured I'd test it out. It arrived and the box says (though I don't think it says anywhere on the amazon listing) that it is accurate +-5 grams.Ok, but I'm more concerned with reliability (does it always give the same number when weighing the same thing and does 10 grams heavier actually mean 10 grams heavier), and precision (how narrow a range does it pinpoint the weight to) than accuracy (is this the actual weight), so I figured I'd try it out. I piled a few things on top, got the weight. Took the stuff off and re-tared and added the stuff with a very light additional item (to stimulate a few grams of breast milk that baby would have eaten between weighings). The weight did go up but it seemed to go up more than I would expect for such a light item. I experimented a little more and this time just weighed the same thing (a houseplant) over and over again, re-taring each time. I did not get the same weight each time and the range was more like 15 grams than 5. So not only is it not reliable, it's also not accurate within 5 grams as claimed.I imagine there may be some variation on whether the item is exactly centred on the scale or has been placed exactly correctly, or whatever, but I don't think placing a baby in exactly the same position more than once is going to be easier than doing it with a houseplant.

Doesn't weigh much, switch from kg - oz - lbs on the bottom is nice and handy, must be on a flat surface or it will not give an accurate reading. Tried putting it on my daughter's change table and the readings were all over the place so I put it on the floor & it worked much better. Bought this because my daughter is having an issue with weight gain. Will be using it daily! Super thankful it came with a battery already installed but if you need a new one, it's a larger round/flat battery (not sure of the name but it's not one you would have off hand in your drawer). Love the curved design, daughter was quite comfortable on it!

So convenient, no electric cords, turns off automatically after use. Uses one small battery (included)I have a sick cat; so this is great to keep track of his weight. My vet recommended this scale, as she uses them in her clinic

First off I want to say the seller offered a full refund because the product did not meet our expectations, which we greatly appreciated. For this reason I bumped up the rating to 3 stars. The problem we encountered with this scale is that it was too sensitive to movement. The slightest shifting of our baby would produce different results each time we attempted a weighing. Multiple weighings produced results that varied too much to be useful to us.

very light weight and easy to use. But seems to be not always accurate. Needed it to weight my baby before and after feeding to check milk intake. This doesnt seem to do the job well. Will need to find another one.
