I was expecting more ...
I went in blind, with high expectations... But I wanted to love it more!I was eager to read about a patient falling for her psychiatrist and I was intrigued by the parts that talked about illness (depression).I wanted more focus on thisI wanted more out of the sessions between Willow and Dr. Simon Blackwood.I wanted to see and feel their bond growing. The slow burn and the buildup at the beginning were very promising, then it all happened suddenly!Moving to the physical aspect. The risks Dr. Simon Blackwood took were there to emphasize the forbidden vibes but, in my opinion, he didn’t behave like a responsible 33-year-old doctor, towards his career but mostly towards his patient’s health. And this made the story less realistic to me.The parts I loved most were the beginning and the end because this is where I understood the characters and read about their inner battles and secrets.

Forbidden love. Soulmates.
Even though I knew how this was going to end when I started reading it, I still didn't know how we would end up there. There were times when Willow and Simon made me want to cry. I just loved them together and how they wanted to help each other with their problems. Now that I know what happened with Willow and I had already read Violet's story. I want to know Renn and Penny's stories. I also want to see more of Dean and Fallon. I know there is a short story that i read but I want more now that I know their connection to Willow and Simon. There are certain things I would like to see happen.

Meh
Its as if two different people write this book. The first half was wonderful and sucked you right in but the second half was crap. Actions of charaters did not make sense for their development. And the end kept dragging on.

I thought I was getting a smutty, forbidden romance, but what I got was something so much more. Something hopeful. Something moving. Something that will stay with me forever.
