We bought this as part of our family mad scientist Halloween costume. This set is awesome! It has tons of experiments and the ingredients and tools you need to do each. All of the experiments worked as expected. They were so much fun and easy for me and my 5 year old to do. I even did some with my prek class and some for my son’s class. We still have ingredients left and are still enjoying the set. We will definitely be purchasing more National Geographic science kits in the future. And bonus that the purchase goes to help the Nat Geo foundation

This is a great gift. It was a little tricky and involved using some ingredients that are not safe for children to handle. (Eg. Bleach)

Muy entretenido pero también didáctico, los niños aprenden y juegan. Altamente recomendable.

It has a lot to do, not only making soap and bath bombs but also just science experiments. I think ages 6 and up is appropriate. The only thing I would change is the colors be a little more gender neutral but it’s still fun!

I am not the biggest fan of slime kits but this one is actually really cool. It's got an educational aspect, it's extremely easy to follow the directions, it doesn't make a huge mess, and it makes them feel like mad scientists. This is one of my favorites.
