The Funniest Quotes Book: 1001 of the Best Humourous Quotations (Quotes For Every Occasion)

I've read the majority of quotes before - including the ones that appear in the book twice. Pages 34, 64, 70, 71, 72, 83, 86 and 96 all contain quotes which are duplicated on other pages of the book - six of them on the opposite facing page; including one where the same quote is attributed to two different people. It feels like the book has been thrown together with no thought for anyone who bought it.

The title is a bit pretentious compared to the contents, in my personal opinion.I suppose "Funniest" according to the author's (compiler's) sense of humour which undoubtedly differs from his readers'.The book is passable, not boring and contained only a few quotes new to me, so the three stars is a reflexion of a personal opinion and does not demean a book well made.

Brought for my brother as a gift , he said it was brilliant made him laugh. Fast delivery as I got prime. So if you want a good laugh buy this book.
