MilaniThe Waterproof One Mascara - 114 The Black Noir

I love the Milani regular mascara so I thought the waterproof would be great for summer when humidity and perspiration can make you look like a raccoon by midday. Unfortunately, the tube I received was dry and clumpy and very difficult to use. Someone mentioned it was because of the "Amazonian clay" used in products these days but if that ingredient is going to make the item unusable, then perhaps skip it? Frankly, I thought I had received an old tube that had dried out on the shelf but, lately, making returns to Amazon has been horrendously difficult so I just tossed the tube and crossed it off my list of future purchases.

Although the actual look with this mascara is decent, if you accidentally get it on your skin, it is almost impossible to get off. Definitely requires a special eye makeup remover, but a struggle even with that. I also really dislike the tapered applicator - I switch which direction I use the applicator all the time, and found it very difficult to get an even application of the mascara. Will not use again.

I purchased this mascara as Amazon no longer carried the one I prefer from this brand (Lash Trifecta) thinking it would be as good but I've been fairly disappointed. It smudges really bad which is surprising considering this is supposed to be waterproof. I will use it but won't buy again

Absolutely love this mascara. It is truly waterproof. So much so that it is extremely difficult to remove. It does smudge a bit an even that is hard to get off you skin.. That is the biggest downfall to this product. I only use it when I know I'm going to be in the water.

I love this mascara..have used for several years. Waterproof..won't smudge but easy to remove & now I know can just order through Amazon!! Great product for the price.
