Decided to buy for my fiance's 30th bday! Hes been wanting to try different types of coffee! This is perfect for that! 10 stars for presentation if I could! Beautiful book of coffees! Super Fast shipping! Package came brand new and wrapped! However, I am slightly dissapointed, It is missing mexican altura and tanzanian peaberry :/. Instead I received 2 kenya AA and a cranberry creme brulee in their place. Which is ok, I guess. Atleast I got all 12! But definately reason to drop a star, due to false advertisement. P.s this is during covid 19, So i definately just appreciate the fact that you guys got it to me so fast and giving me what you could! Just a suggestion though, Maybe send an email notifying buyers that your out of a certain product. I know From a buyer's standpoint, I feel that this would make your company more honest and trustworthy and would LOVE to stay informed on a product I am purchasing. Thank you again.

Updated review: A friend suggested I try using a French press with this coffee. I did, but in order to get some flavor, I had to use double the recommended amount of coffee. The taste was passable but it was so astringent, it was not a good coffee experience for me. For a full pot, use at least two bags of this stuff.Original comments: I have rarely had to give this kind of a review. No matter how we tried to make this coffee, it came out weak and flavorless. Each packet had the same aroma. I think all of these are from the same batch of old coffee.

I wanted to give it a try despite some really bad reviews and I am so disappointed. I love coffee and am always willing to try different types but after the 6th package, I just threw everything in unopened into the thrash.. They all taste the same, pretty stale, no flavor whatsoever and I doubt very much about the dates. The only thing I found nice about this kit was the box it came in... bad bad experience....

I'm very disappointed with these coffees. I do not have a clue why there is so many good reviews. Most of the coffees are very acidic, flavor is lacking for a full pot of coffee. I can't describe it, but as a self described coffee snob, none of the coffees that I've had before taste anything like the coffees from the same regions. It would be a great gift and looks awesome, if the coffee was worth drinking.

Nice assortment of coffee. It has a good presentation which makes it gift worthy. As for taste, that is really up to the consumer. I bought this as a gift for a two person household, and they seem to like it. I would be told if it were cruddy. I think they, and most people would like trying something different.Keep in mind that this is an assortment, with varying flavor notes, and the amount is for each bag to make a pot of coffee. Whether it does that is up to the maker of the coffee. Some people use very little coffee, some people use a lot. So make adjustments and you should be fine.
