I don't drink coffee, so this review is for those who are wondering if carafes are only for coffee. So carafes are basically a big metal container to keep liquids at their temperatures for as long as possible. Usually they are double-walled since metal conducts temperature very quickly, so a double wall helps to contain the heat or cold within. This particular carafe can contain 75 ounces, so it's a good size. If you drink about 12 ounces each time (equivalent to about a soda can ), you can drink do it just over six times. It also has a pump so you don't have to tilt this big and heavy container to disperse the liquid (it weighs almost four and a half pounds).I have also tried this on iced tea, hot water, and even hot cocoa. Everything works great - the temperature remained the same hot or cold after two hours. Cold temperature remains longer - for me, the cold temperatures lasted 12 hours with the carafe at half ice cubes. If you filled the carafe to the brim with ice cubes, it will last longer. As for the hot tea, and was still warm as hot tea should be after 6 hours. However, that was with me dispensing and drinking the hot tea throughout the day. If you did a temperature test and left it at full capacity, the claim is 12 hours.The quality of this carafe is good, and hence the higher price (cafares start from $20-50), made of stainless steel for the metal, and high-quality matte plastic. The pump action feels sturdy, and the look and quality make this carafe a good value. I wouldn't say all carafes at $20 are low-quality, but stainless steel is not cheap, so be careful what you pay for. I feel this is a fair price for this carafe, based on its excellent value for its size, features, and quality.

The pump works well and the handle drops down easily when not in use. Hence the pump handle doesn't get in the way of the cabinet door over it.I fill mine with Tea. The tea stays hot for several hours or more. Then it is warm the next day.This is a great product. It is a solid professional use product.

Works great. Keeps coffee fresh and hot all day. 8 hours and coffee is still good. We got 2 for work.

Very good handle pump type dispenser compared to a button type dispenser. But you need more head room under the top wall cabinet. Lucky this was 3 inch shorter in height than my old button type and hold the same amount of liter of 2 qt water.Stainless steel carafe does keep water hot and longer than glass, but it has funny taste in the beginning and maybe it will go away later, time will only tell. I fill hot water every day.Open the box and NO INSTRUCTION came with, and it should have some cleanly solution with it, as in past, what a ____ weasels.

I have used my Gint daily since I purchased the item four months ago. I love the ease, convience, and the swivel stand. I keep it with me throughout the day....hot coffee an easy 2-3 finger press away!!!The Gint is easy to clean with a removable top, easy to carry with a strong handle, an easy to access coffee with a strong air pump.The interior is Stainless Steel with exception of the top enclosure and the top of the air pump. Even though the plastic material is BPA free, my preference would be to have Stainless Steel or Titanium in all areas that coffee contacts.I do pour the coffee carefully into the Gint and wipe away any coffee that lands on the BPA free plastic top...that is my own idiosyncratic behavior!!!

I love this air pot because the top can be removed to clean. Nice clean sturdy design and always works.

There's no doubt that coffee gets bitter as it sits on a hot plate. This thermal carafe is the perfect solution. As soon as my coffee is done brewing, I pour it into this carafe. Love the pump feature, rather than tipping the whole carafe, like other brands & designs. Coffee stays hot for hours and the taste stays fresh and does not turn coffee dark. Easy to operate, easy to wash and assemble back. It will hold 12 cups of coffee. It is not necessary to preheat it with hot water like other carafes. Love it. Worth every dollar.
