1/4" RO Water Tube Fitting,Bulkhead Connector,Quick Connect Bulkhead Connector,for RO Water system,Water filters,Water purifiers Fittings

I got creative and installed a plant shelf and grow lights in the basement to overwinter some tender plants we put out on the deck in the spring/summer/fall. I used some boot trays to set the plants in but I needed a way to drain away excess water from when we water the plants. I just installed the bulkhead fittings into holes in the boot trays (I added O rings to get a good seal) then connected them with some tubing and tee and elbow fittings and ran the drain to our nearby sump pump. I did drill small holes sideways into the bulkhead fittings so the water level would not need to be very high before draining out. No more worrying about too much water. The excess just drains away. The fittings and tubing were very easy to connect and worked perfectly for my application. See photo

All of these leaked when hooked up. Don't buy this junk unless you intend to have water damage.

Not sure why there aren't any bulkheads on Amazon that don't come with o-rings. For a leak free installation buy a 5/8 ID o-ring. Also the threads only extend about halfway down the shaft. So without an o-ring the bulkhead will go through 1/4" thick walls, or just 1/8" with an o-ring. A little disappointed since I want to use this primarily with 1/4 acrylic. Other than this the bulkhead works as expected.

Cool, and clean passage through bulkhead. Only was able yo use four of five sent The one in question was the actual piece that holds the hose ends. The threads on the piece would not accept hold down nut, without extreme force. Which I would not attempt on plastic parts. All nuts work on any of the other pieces, no problems

These work perfectly in my makeshift auto top off container for may saltwater aquarium. I was getting leaks so I ended up getting some cheap silicone O-rings to use with them. They do not leak with the o-rings. I may have been able to made the leaking without the o-ring but since I had them, I used them.

I bought these after buying a cheaper version of the same thing. Those leaked... and these do too, unfortunately. Not bad, but under low pressure, they leaked. I give up, leak it is.

Bulkhead fittings didn't come with any rubber/silicone gaskets so they were useless out of the bag. I had to go get seals before I could use them. Otherwise good product at a good price.

Exactly as described...functional and a must have for aquariums/plumbing/dosing I would purchase these again and again for my specific application I highly recommend this particular brand of bulkheads to anyone who need them 👍👍
