Unable to set off the desired effect !
I bought this item for my Grandchildren after seeing them play with the basic set. Unfortunately, this set doesn't seem to work so well. It's very difficult to launch the car so that it rides up the ramp, and so setting off the exploding roof and "fireworks". We have tried using it on hard surfaces but to no effect. So only 2 stars.

Construct with caution !!!
Good little playset albeit a little expensive.. does what is says but just some advice, there are 2 small foam rockets that you pop into place that have a tendency to release before you've closed the playset up.. This would be so dangerous if it caught you in the face or eye, so we made our 8yr old wear goggles while doing it.. Solved the problem a treat !!!!
