Q: Has the rust issue been addressed with recent purchases?

I don't know about the rust issues. We sprayed them right away with a aresol lacquer before putting them outside. So far good. Might have to spay them again in another couple of years.

Hello, You may use Rustoleum clear coat to protect the cranes

We didn’t spray them because they are in a shaded area. If you have them in the sun and rain then spray them to protect them.

Q: Has anyone had these rust who does not live near the ocean?

I have had mine only one short week. I live in Central Florida. IT HAS NOT EVEN RAINED. They are starting to rust. UPS picking up tomorrow. What a disappointment.
