durability
I got this mainly because it is made of Knit Kevlar. I never thought that the material that stops a bullet can be so fragile. Within one hour of light use--basically feeding small branches to an electrical chipper--the fibres on the gloves started fraying. I have attached a picture. This is such a poor quality product and I am surprised that Amazon sells it--sold and shipped by amazon.

Garbage. We tested them with a dull knife and they offer zero protection.
There is zero to minimal kevlar in these gloves. They are not safe. They should not be allowed to sell safety equipment that is not safe.Don't waste your money on this garbage.

Protect Your Hands in Your Workshop
A good essential part of any organized workshop! My husband was very pleased to have these added to his tool shop. He told me that there are often times when these gloves would come in handy to handle sharp edged materials! Very glad I got them and they look to be well made and will hopefully stand up to long use.

Must-have tool for all carvers
Very deceptive - they feel like wool but are surprisingly strong and protective, it takes a great deal of effort to cut these. Slips with the knife will still cause a bit of pain, but are unable to slice the skin - absolute must-have for all carvers.
