I would not recommend
Extremely difficult to use. You feel as though you are about to slide out of them.

Extra padding required
Bought these as a gift, slightly large but nothing a pair of thick socks won't rectify. And although, looking at these, they could be passed as some weird Victorian torture device, they are apparently really good.

Pretty solid inversion boots
Pretty solid inversion boots. With such metallic hook. They never going to tear apart. Simply love it.Tip to improve comfort -Try different pair of shoes. I found that my asics shoes work better than my nike shoes because of the extra padding. Before hanging up side down. You better warm up a bit.

But fits like it should
Heavy inversion boots though, But fits like it should. Provides a good snug fit, never raises a doubt while doing inverted rises. Good quality and provides comfort while in use.

Very Happy
I purchased these to help with my back problems (bulged discs, arthritis etc), and to benefit from inversion. I already had a pull up bar in my workout room, so I chose these instead of getting an inversion table. These things are bulletproof, built with solid steel, VERY good quality. My fist try using the inversion boots was a little scary. I really should of recorded it, I was flailing around like a fish trying to get both hooks on the bar. Once I learned the right technique to hook onto the bar, its a piece of cake. The boots would also make my ankles/feet ache (luckily, this goes away after you get used to being inverted). The next thing I needed to learn was how to fully trust the boots and be able to relax my whole body while hanging. Once these two things are done it is amazing on how beneficial it is for your back (and your whole body). You can feel your back stretching and releasing all the tension. It seems to stretch my spine and align it while inverted. Once you get down the first few times you might feel some back pain (I did) I know this is due to my body not being used to having my back aligned. After a few days of inversion, I started to notice that my back wasn't hurting when I got off the bar. Also the pain I am talking about is a "good" pain (if that makes any sense), almost like getting aligned at a chiropractor.I now use these inversion boots at least twice a day, and also lay on my Spine-worx board after: Spine-Worx Back Realignment Device The combination of these two have really improved my back pain.
