Purina Beggin’ Limited Edition Adult Dog Treats, Homestyle! Honey N’ Ham Flavor - 36 oz. Pouch

My pup has loved Beggin Strips for years, but it seems something may have changed in ingredients or the manufacturing process. He ate them fine, but later that day he had diarrhea. The next day, after he had more, it became explosive diarrhea...ugggh what a mess and nasty. We were also pup sitting our niece's dog that day. She started having diarrhea too. That's when it seemed the only link was these treats even though they both have loved them for a long time and both are normally healthy pups. The bag went in the trash! The next day she was better but he did vomit a couple of times. It was 2 days before he would take Any treats and the problem did not come back after throwing the bag of these away. Just a warning, if your pup gets the runs after a couple of these THROW them away then; do not give them any more! I will not be buying any Beggin Strips again; too much of a risk.

Ordered & paid for a 36oz bag. Received a 5oz bag today. Big difference in both size & price !!!

The Beggin strips were opened a week after receiving the item and they were hard hard hard and very dry as if they had being laying out under a heat lamp somewhere. All Beggin strips i have bought in the past had a smell of bacon looked appetizing and were not hard. The ones i received break and crumble apart they are so hard.

I was surprised when this arrived because the bag was MUCH larger than I expected so GREAT VALUE! The actual pieces are pretty big. Like a real size of thick bacon. Probably a great single treat for large dogs. My dogs are small (chihuahua & dachshund) so I break them into 3-4 pieces to make them more proportional treats for them. They love them! And this huge bag will last for a long time! Very pleased & highly recommend.

These turkey with gravy Beggin Strips looked like they contained some kind of powder on them. They looked old and had a grayish tone to them. My dog ate some of them since the expiration date was several months away but they just look stale to me

These smell great and that's why I buy them. Not every local store carries them, so I know I can get them from Amazon. My dogs LOVE them. But frankly, I don't think the Dachshunds care which flavor I get . They'd like them all. I buy these for the pleasant PB smell as opposed to the other awful chemical smells! Ick.

I keep these in my pocket and treat my dog frequently during the day. These are also a hit with other people’s dog around our neighborhood. I have these on a regular delivery schedule.

The pieces are big. They actually smelled like maple syrup. There are no doubt healthier or higher quality options out there but...the doggos seemed to love them and they're here still happy and healthy. My dog drooled like crazy when I'd bring them out haha
