It was easy to assemble, with a small use of elbow grease. The directions were very easy to follow. My neice who is over a year old, loves being able to turn the wheel and put her cup in her own holder in front. The safety features are good and adjustable. I would say keep a eye out for how your child's feet hang. If they don't reach the peddles or don't want to use the given steps to put there feet on. Theur feet might drag when you use this item. Be watchful.
