The S640 is a wonderful product for beginners and artists on the go!
Hello Folks!I’m Chris, I’m a professional artist, and my tablet is more-or-less my life. Keep drawing, keep getting money, keep buying groceries. Take it from me when I say that recommending tablets is an important thing… and I gotta say: I definitely recommend the S640 for either those beginner artists in your life, or for inclusion with a mobile setup. The S640 was a wonderful little peripheral. It is very light and very compact, so it is wonderful for throwing in a bag and running off wherever you may want to go. As a life-long Wacom user, I am incredibly adverse to the woes of a battery-powered pen. I find them heavy and clunky, and they become incredibly annoying when the battery gets to its low end. To that effect, I was incredibly pleased to find that Veikk’s products use a battery-less pen. No fussing with a battery is always a win, and it is even more so, considering how sensitive the pressure function is and how reactive it is as a mouse. If price is a factor, Veikk has made a very cost effective product. The S640 is roughly $30 USD, and after a little research, I found the closest Wacom product (the Wacom One) is around $60 USD. On top of its highly competitive price, the S640 also comes packaged with several replacement nibs for the stylus and a couple different adapters so that you can connect it through some non standard ports.I punished this product, trying to see what issues I could find with it. While I would love to say this product is without faults, I will say that everytime I ran into an issue with it, the people at Veikk were very willing to help me solve them. I absolutely was way meaner to this machine and its driver than they likely intended, and throughout the process of me trying to find problems with this product, the staff at Veikk was very quick to help me out and find solutions to problems that I could not! I will say since this is a relatively unknown brand, it may be a bit difficult to find tutorials on fixing issues online. The main issues that I really can point out (that are not immediately fixable by their support staff) are to do with the build of the device. The construction of the device does feel a little flimsy. It is very thin, and has a particular point that I was worried about as I wiggled it around trying to see if I could break it; but I am pleased to report that I did not break it, and wouldn’t expect it to break under any reasonable day-to-day stresses. The nibs admittedly are a little bit noisy as well when you first trade them out, but after a few minutes of doodling the ends smooth out a little, and it's back to peacefully working.TLDR;------PROS------Stylus does not require batteries. Fantastic feature.Pressure sensitivity is very reactive.Very good price point. Wacom’s closest competitive tablet is the One, with similar dimensions and costs around $60USDBox comes with several replacement pen nibs included, as well as adapters for other, non-usb connectors.Veikk staff have been very willing to work with me as I test their drivers, even though that is not technically what they asked me to do. :D------CONS------Relatively unknown brand. Not a lot of troubleshooting for this brand exists on the internet.Construction of the tablet seems flimsy. You can see raw silicon(?) on the sides of the tablet body; but I have not had any sort of breaking or cracking.First few minutes of use, the pen nibs are very noisy; but after a few minutes of doodling, they tone down. The long and short of it is that the S640 is a good product. It's small, it's light, it’s cost effective, it doesn't need extra batteries, and when I ran into problems Veikk’s staff was quick to help me out. I am so confident in this device, that I am highly considering their VK1560 for when my old Cintiq 13HD finally kicks the bucket, now knowing the quality of their products.

Easy to use , very portal , light weight and slik design
VEIKK S640 TabletNeed a drawing tablet on the go? First, I am a customer of this product and have tried it first hand. So here are my thoughts on this ultra thin sleek style drawing tablet. So first let me just say that the VEIKK S640 is light and thin with only 2mm,weighs 177g , so bringing it in your laptop bag or even your purse would be no effort at all.The solid black design is a nice clean look as well, but not only is it thin and nice looking it also has a small design but with a 6 x 4 drawing space, more focused on the drawing then the buttons and knobs in the way.One thing I have to point out the reason I personally like to stick with the VEIKK is because they make their drawing tablets for left and right handed people, where most companies do not take this into consideration. Being a left handed person is a key function that I need to have.Next is one question people ask alot and that's what will this tablet work with? So yes its Compatible with Mac 10.12 or later,But i am not a mac user so this working with Windows 7/8/10 System is the win for me. Also it works with almost drawing software such as Photoshop,SAI,AI,Autodesk SketchBook ,Zbrush,Krita,Maya, and More. I use photoshop and have not once had a problem with the set up on my windows or photoshop. But if by chance you do have some issues just simply try to make sure everything is Uninstalled from the VEIKK files and then just try a reinstall cause it could just be something minor.Moving on to the Price, now VEIKK does have alot of drawing tablets out for all your many needs from more in depth with buttons you can assign to full in view screen for all your drawing needs and all at good prices, and this one is no different. For someone who travels like myself as a tattoo artist having a drawing tablet that I can take on the go with all my supplies does wonder when I have to do up a design for a friend or client. So what are myCouple things that make this Great!*Light & thin*Affordable price*Clean design*Good drawing space*Easy to use and set up*Battery and wireless free Pen*works on pretty much all drawing programs*Great for on the go*good tablet to computer response timeThings that may draw your eye away!*When drawing can only see on computer screen not on tablet.*Be nice for this size it is, to be to wireless for traveling purposes. Now my cons are just more of a personal preference, cause hey who doesn't like having no cords in the way, but by no means does it make this tablet any less amazing. So I would recommend this drawing tablet to anyone who loves to draw, draws for work and you're on the go or not alot of space to put your stuff. I know I love taking with me and had become a part of my need to have items when traveling for work, of just to tattoo some friends on a weekend.

TL:DR, if you need a small tablet this will suffice.
I needed a small tablet for when I travel and want to draw, This tablet is very light weight and very slim design. In the box comes the tablet with a permanently attached USB cable, I'm not really a fan of the cable not being removable and replaceable with a shorter one but it is what it is, The pen with a single nib and a felt sleeve to hold the pen.The device works fine with my Windows notebook that I use for writing and drawing on the go.Pros:* Nice Pocket size for an on the go drawing tablet.* Easy installation.* The entirety of the space on the tablet is used for actually drawing.* Perfect for OSU, A Rhythm game I used to play when I was a teenager, was nice to revisit it for some nostalgia.Cons:* There are no buttons for controls/shortcuts, leaving the need to use keyboard commands to quickly change tools.Comments:* I didn't really realize how small 6 inches by 4 inches was until I had the thing in front of me, But that is more of being Canadian and using the metric system my whole life.
