The thermos works perfect, had to subtract a star because I wish they made a better quality carrying bag. It started ripping the first week I had it. Also I do wish the top part was a little bit bigger. Otherwise the thermos is pretty good. I take it to work with me to eat breakfast and lunch on my 2 thirty minute breaks, I count calories so my portion sizes may be smaller than others. I make/heat up my food around 5:45am, my first break is at 8:45am, the top portion is nice and warm. My next break is at 12:45pm, and the bottom part is still nice and warm, not as warm as the top part but still perfect enough for me. Word of advice, try to fill up each part, it will allow your food to stay hot longer. Also make sure you hand wash it as soon as possible, mainly before the day is out, it will have a worse smell than plastic but just until it is cleaned. I had eggs at work, forgot to wash it until the next morning because I was tired, it smelled absolutely awful, thank goodness it doesn't hold the smell.

My daughter likes hot lunches at school and really enjoys taking leftovers. This keeps her lunch warm until it's lunch time. We prep with boiling water and pack heated up food. Sometimes she only takes the bottom dish with the handle lid, sometimes she takes both dishes stacked. From the time I pack her lunch to getting to eat her lunch is about 5 hours and she's reporting warm enough lunch.

I like the size and easy to clean.
