ACDelco GM Genuine Parts D6088 Door Jamb Switch

I used these to replace the factory door switches in a 70 Cutlass convertible. I had to cut off factory connectors as car had a 2 pin and a 3 pin connector from the factory and these switches are for female connectors. Just had to strip wire and crimp connector on, slide onto spade and screw back in.

Out of a pair only one would thread in easily. One of them must have had bad threads thankfully one of my original ones worked and I was just replacing it to replace it. I tried it in both sides so I k ow it wasn’t the threads in the door jam.

For months my door open warning light blink on and off when door was closed tight put this switch in using the rear wheel hatch compartment four screws to access the rear 2 wires connectors drill the old hole opening a little wider and slip this one in with a couple small blows around the bolt housing with a socket with a hammer and its in tight and working perfectly.

I have been buying AC Delco products for over 50 years and have never had a problem.

This is a quality product but does NOT fit 69 Camaro. The shaft is too long and so the door will not close. Would be 5 stars if it fit.
