I bought a set of these to use on my outdoor plants while I would be gone for a few days. Although the idea of them seemed reasonable, they did not work out in reality. They are easy to assemble, but hard to get anchored into the attached water bottle. Although I tried to adjust the drip, nothing seemed to work and, with most of them, they drained out within a few minutes. Of the two that didn't, I left them in while gone, but they had apparently drained too quickly as well and the plants were dead. Desert Southwest summers require constant watering to potted flowers and these did not work for that purpose.

I've tried these several different ways and the outcome is the same. When you turn them over to insert them into the dirt, the water pours out and over the holder. Adjusting the hard to screw on dripper doesn't seem to work since it doesn't stop the drip or slow it down. When you have the bottle filled with water and go to push it down harder into the black holder the water is forced out and it becomes even more of a mess.Really? A good concept but I really wouldn't waste my time on this product.

Not bad easy to use... I did a test run and realized quickly how to adjust the flow. Works well with a 16 oz water bottle and a 1 liter bottle but I had to tape the 1 liter bottle as it kept tipping over. It did not work at all with a 2 liter bottle( it kept collapsing on itself). I have too much money invested in my plants to not give this a try.

When I bought these, the description indicated it would work with 2 litre bottles.When I received these, they are of a good quality, but do not fit 2 liter bottles.Thus my 1 star rating.SEE FOR YOURSELF. The opening of the items is nearly 1/4 inch less than even a simple water bottle.I don't know what bottles these fit, but they do not work with any bottles I've seen.RIP OFF! BUYER BEWARE!

Great inexpensive short term solution to watering plants

Does not work.

Hard to find bottle that fits and when you do water flows over the rim.

This product works but it is difficult to regulate the drip I trust it for watering pots for up to three days only.
