Awesome net for your homemade or worn out goal!!
First- the 1 star reviews by people who can’t figure out how to put this net on, stop. Just please stop. You’re embarrassing yourself. A monkey could put this thing on, blindfolded. Now my review. This net is perfect for our 6x4 homemade goal. After my son started exploding PVC goals I put together, we hit Lowe’s for pre threaded galvanized steel pipe. I went with 1” to be sure it was heavy/ sturdy enough. 1.25” or 1.5” if you want over kill or want to go larger. I will put shopping list below (wish I could post a picture).Anyway, the goal is bomb-proof and has lasted 5 years and going strong. All we replace is the net. (About once/ year due to weather, sun, and CONTINUOUS use) The net is easy to install (you just need to be smarter than the net) stretch it around the corners, like a fitted sheet when making the bed, and then we invested in 4” mini bungee cords and installed about every 3-4 inches. My son, 12, and a DA player, literally stands 5ft from this goal and BLASTS shots. Over and over. The thing has never failed. Just ordered 2 more nets and another pack of bungees because I’m afraid they may stop making these.Anyway, good luck and happy striking!!!Here’s how we made the 4x6 indestructible goal:Lowe’s shopping list:Threaded galvanized pipe (at least 1” diameter sections)A- one 72”B- two 48”sC- four 36”sD- six 90 degree elbowsE- one 2” coupling section that will act as your “lynch pin”Helpful- have some grease or wd40/ silicon spray to coat the threads- this will make assembly easier, and a pair of Vise-Grips and or a pair of channel lock pliers. Most of this should be obvious. Remember to not tighten everything down until you are close to completion) The 72” is your cross (top) bar. The 48”s are your side posts. The 36” will connect at the bottom of the 48”s to form an “L” and will extend 90 from the 48- heading back behind the goal. This piece will lay flat on the ground. Then elbow and another 36 (on the ground, forming the back of the goal. Repeat on the other side. Snug down the entire project with Vise-Grips, and some attached connections by turning some of the completed sections. Here comes the tricky part. When all is 99% complete, and tightened down you should have what looks like a finished goal with a space in the middle between the two 36”s. (The ones lying on the floor). In order to complete the circuit, you thread the 2” piece on as far as it will go without getting stuck. This is where some grease comes in handy. Once snug, insert the other 36” into the other side of the coupling and then “unscrew” the coupling. This will then thread onto the other pipe. Play with it and try and get a 50/50 connection. Attach your netting and bungees and start ripping shots. Good luck and have fun! This lengthy review and goal building exercise is courtesy of the COVID-19 scam that is keeping me locked down and running out if things to do!Bungees: uComforts Premium Black Ball Bungee Cords, Quality 50 Pack of 4 inch, 6 inch Black UV Treated Cord, Giving You The Best New Ball Bungee, Bungee Loop with Ball, Ball Bungee Cord, Tarp Bungee Cords https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07561T2FB/ref=cm_sw_r_oth_api_i_VzoFEbP6QD99S

Functionally suited for soccer nets, not hockey.
A super inexpensive way to reinforce an old soccer net. The grid is too large for hockey pucks or ball hockey. That was most of the reason we bought it, unfortunately, but I hadn't taken the rope net off the frame yet so I secured it on top.It didn't come with instructions, but it was pretty easy to muddle through installing, which only took me 4-5 minutes as my kids pestered to ask if I was done. Once I had the two marker tags oriented to the top of the frame, I just popped the bungee cord around the edges and secured it with the included velcro strips. The hot plastic smell takes a few washes to get off your hands, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ for 14$, whatever.

Great for soccer
Got it for a hockey goal that my kids are using for soccer. The web is way too big for lax or hockey, but works great for soccer. Whole thing is a bit big for the hockey goal, but some zip ties hold it in place just fine. Was tricky to unravel but I managed it alone. 4 stars. Recommend for soccer only
