Quality of seeds excellent!
No exaggeration! These seeds sprouted in three days! Indoors, of course...last year I had to take cuttings in before frost and they bloomed. Beautiful flowers! This seed company has never disappointed me.

Awesome seeds!!
These seeds did beautifully in my drought prone, shabby soiled garden. I would say I got nearly 100% germination, and I truly did just simply throw them onto the dirt. Planted in zone 9 in late February/early March, and by May they were so large I actually had to move them as they were eclipsing the poppy seedlings I had planted at the same time directly behind the salvia (my fault entirely for underestimating their rate of growth). Not sure how well they will bloom this year since I completely interrupted their growth and shocked them a bit by transplanting. But, the plants did snap back very quickly and continue to grow and thrive. Will definitely update review with pics if/when they bloom for me.Very pleased with Seed Needs, I came back and ordered cleome and cosmos seeds from them. Also, wait for it reviewer "Chris"...salvia...is sage. There are 1000 types. My guess is you were looking for "Salvia officinalis" or common sage. Which is not what is described in this listing.

no salvia, just green plant
These seeds grew fairly well and transplanted wellHowever, they have not flowered at all. I am not sure they are even salvia plants. they are about 2-3 ft tall, green leaves, no flowers. planted indoors in April/May in Massachusetts. Once past frost chance planted 20 + plants outside. Grew tall. No flowers, ONly green leaves. Not sure these are even salvia..... will see what seed company responds.

No flowers.
Germination rate was excellent. Plants planted mid-May. Now July, plants are 36 to 40 inches tall. There are no signs of any flowers. Not one. Very disappointing.

Did not bloom
I started mine in my greenhouse. They sprouted and grew easily. When I transplanted to my garden, they thrived and still look so healthy. Right now I can look out at my so called flowers in the month of October and I see robust plants but still no flowers. This seems to be a common complaint. Are they bi annual? Should I expect better next spring? I feel like I wasted a whole short summer focusing on these flowers only to be disappointed.

a few duds
Can't get but about 2/3 to sprout but other than that, not bad for 800 seeds. Looks good in the butterfly garden.

Very nice seeds that germinate easily.
Lots of seeds and easy to germinate. Very tiny seeds so I probably did more than I should have. I have been giving plants to anyone who wants them. I would but again but probably not for a long time.

Germination in 2 days
WOW! These seeds germinated in 2 days. I've never had seeds germinate so fast and healthy! I started the seeds in some indoor potting mix since I was out of seed starting mix. But the results were fantastic. They are growing big and strong. I can't wait to buy other seeds from this company.
