War ein voller Erfolg und der Hingucker auf der Kinderparty. Aufgrund der Tortengröße (Schichttorte mit Buttercreme u Fondant), wegen dem Mysterybus, blieb noch reichlich Torte übrig🙈😅... Zum Glück war/ist sie aber lecker, sodass man sich auch auf den nächsten Tag freut, ein Stück zu sich zu nehmen😋😋😋

My 4 year old grandson loves Scooby Doo. I didn't start looking for decor until 3 days before his birthday celebration at my place. I soon learned that there are not as many Scooby Doo items for sale as there are other characters. When I the Scooby Doo Cake Decor pictures I thought this would be perfect, but truthfully, I didn't read the description much so wasn't aware of the size of the van.Well, the decorations arrived while I was at the store getting the cake. I bought a fairly small 8 inch cake since there would be 10 people total. . When I got home, opened the decoration package and thought this decoration were absolutely great looking, but that they were never going to work because the van was so big. Kept thinking about it; the van was so cool and solidly made, with moving wheels, a working light that changes colors and a back door that opens. I was determined to make this work. Who did I need to impress with my cake decoration skills but my three grandkids?With some quick thinking, I found something that would work as a ramp that the van could use to 'drive' to the top of the cake. I lined the sides of the ramp with various Scoobie snacks and some small soft balls for 3 kids (ages 4-9 years). I made it look as if the van drove up the ramp to the top of the cake and kind of smooshed the van down into the side of the cake to make it look stuck. I used the plastic liner that comes with the van (so the van stayed clean). Then I put scared Scoobie and the thick paper haunted mansion and 'Beware' sign on top of the cake. (Note: Part of the scenery was already removed by the kids when my Daughter in Law took the picture, so you can't get the entire cute effect).When the family arrived, I took my birthday grandson by the hand, told him there was a big "problem" in the kitchen, that he needed to help me address. Once there I explained that Scooby and friends had driven their van up the ramp then the van got stuck in the top of the cake. Scoobie and friends were all so scared at the top when the saw the scary mansion, but the van was stuck!! "How will you help Scoobie and Friends?," I pleaded to my my grandson.The kids LOVED the cake, the story and the cake decorations! They were actually arguing over who got to play with the van most of the afternoon. The van is solid! They even wanted to take the paper pieces home.Overall this set is a delightfully fun and sturdy cake decorations that I would highly recommend, but if you do, maybe bake or buy a bigger cake ;-)

Expensive for what it is ($30), but it’s good quality, it looked super cute on her cake, and is a cool toy after the cake is eaten. My daughter loved it.
