10/10 must get for damaged color processed hair
Needed to bleach my hair for a color correction and after using this 4 times my hair is back to the strength and vibrancy from before I bleached and colored it and there’s still product left for more uses, I’ve tested it by tying a strand in a knot and it springs back out right away so I know my hair strength has improved because damaged hair stays in a knotSome reviews mentions the dryness in their hair coming back after a couple days, however that’s not what this product is for, it’s for restoring the bonds of your hair shaft, I’ve rehydrated my hair by soaking it with a water, milk, and honey solution which will pull moisture back into your hair if it’s dry, then seal that by oiling your wet hair, this will rehydrate and recondition your hair,Picture is after bleaching twice, and coloring twice, soaking my hair twice and 4 uses of this product, back to normal

Improvements could be made, but definitely buy it
Yeah I never write reviews. I’m not proud of it, bc I rely on them, but I’m just terrible about doing it. But this is amazing. I just used it a third time and it nearly stopped the horrifying breakage I was seeing after over-bleaching my hair. A few things:1. In my experience, despite what it says, unless you’re using permanent color (in which case, idk), the clarifying shampoo will fade your hair color. If you are bleaching, I’d use this either before or right after bleaching (or both. But if I had to pick I’d advise after), but BEFORE you put on your toner, bc toners tend to sit on the surface of your hair and for me, this just stripped it right on out (which took me back to the orange I had been glad to tone out :/). And then for subsequent uses, just skip step 1 and opt for a gentler shampoo until just before the next time you tone. Frankly, even if you don’t have color to worry about, I wouldn’t use the shampoo more than once a week at the most. That’s not to say I don’t like it—to the contrary, I think the whole system prob does work best with step 1 (whereas I could take or leave step 4) bc it really does strip the hair and ready it for treatment—but any really good clarifier is going to be harsh when overused. Personally, I’ll be opting for a gentler, truly color-safe weekly clarifier in between toners; I’m sure it won’t clean my hair as well as this one, but orange hair (which is what bleach brings out in my hair until I throw a toner on it) isn’t my look.2. As others have mentioned, it probably will dry your hair (especially if you’re using the clarifying shampoo). At the very least, it’s not likely to moisturize it; that’s not the point. In fact, your hair isn’t likely to look great at all right after using it—that is, unless and until you moisturize it. Like, really moisturize—whatever you use, whether it’s a deep conditioner, mask, oils, etc, this is going to make it work harder. Which takes me to my last point.3. I found the conditioner to be kind of worthless. And also not enough for my armpit-length (but very fine) hair. Which is fine—the price to me is still more than reasonable and IMO, I’m really paying for steps 2 and 3, plus as a bonus a good but seriously hard working clarifier for less frequent use. If you have thick hair or, like me, fine but longer hair, I suggest either buying 2 boxes at a time or just using your own conditioner first time and waiting until you have at least 2 packets to use the conditioner. As I mentioned, I found it pretty useless in terms of moisturizing, but I figure if I’m going to use it, I might as well at least use enough to cover all my hair. Either way, you’ll likely still need to moisturize the shit out of it after (I use regular conditioner and just live with my straw hair the rest of the day and then deep condition overnight).4. For my hair, I get 2 uses out of steps 2 and 3 (I’ve heard others say they get even more. But you really do want to be saturating your hair), half a use out of step 4 and about 2 uses out of step 1 (which makes the packaging kind of unfortunate, but whatever). Idk why they don’t give more conditioner to match steps 2 and 3 (I understand why less of step 1 if they don’t intend you to use it every time you use steps 2-4), but like I said, I much prefer my own conditioners to it anyway. So all in all, works great. Docked a star bc I think the description needs to be more clear re color-safeness of step 1 and because I’d like to see a more productive conditioner (and 4x the amount, so that people are getting roughly the same number of uses out of steps 2-4. Doesn’t make sense that I can saturate my hair with 2 and 3 twice but only cover my roots with step 4).Still though, but it! I know I’ll keep using it.
