Benevolent Nourishment Lactation Supplement

I'm buying more as we speak.. I'm not a huge fan of the taste which isn't terrible, but I love that I can put it in my juice in the morning which is what I do. I've had an issue producing enough milk ever since my 5mo old was born and spent her first week in the NICU. I've had to supplement with formula but it's been a nightmare because my baby doesn't like the taste of it so she refuses or spits it out. She only likes breastmilk. Problem is, I don't have enough. Her weight is 5th percentile and she just won't gain. I started trying everything. I baked lactation cookies, ate oatmeal every morning, drank so much water I felt like a fish, took fenugreek and brewer's yeast capsules, drank mother's milk tea, the list goes on. I read that this liquid version of the right ingredients is something different to try, so I did. Within a few days I had about 1/3 more milk than before! I actually put a bag in the freezer for the first time and was so excited. After two weeks my baby actually seems satisfied and I found a roll on her thigh! This product has finally put my mind at ease after months of stressing about my baby getting enough to eat. Thank you so much!

Definitely worked for me after a few days. Normally I nurse my daughter in the morning and pump right after. Before these drops I get 2-3 oz from each side after nursing. After a few days of taking them I am pumping 5-7 oz from each size (still after nursing!) So happy!

So after I had my baby, my body struggled to produce enough milk for him. I had tried everything from diet to supplements and making sure I drank enough water. I spent hundreds out of pocket (no Insurence) on a new hospital grade pump, which helped some but not as much as I had hoped. I even power pumped twice a day in hopes that my supply would increase . Nothing was working and my baby was ALWAYS hungry after every feeding. I was in tears at the grocery store when I finally broke down and bought formula to supplement his diet. My husband didn’t understand why this was so horrible for me and why I just felt like a failure as a mum. At this point, I was having to supplement more than %50 of my baby’s diet with formula. As a side note, I had this EXACT STRUGGLE with my first son 17 years ago and I eventually gave up and switched to formula for good around 3 months. So once again, I was back on google and amazon, as well as talking with my lactation consultant about WHAT ELSE I could do. I am a stay at home mum, so I had time to try everything under the sun. Then, a few weeks ago while checking amazon again, I stumbled across this product. I read probably 50 reviews, some with amazing reviews and some not as much. It looked so much more promising than all the other products that I had tried and failed with. I got my order and started with the smallest dose. The next morning, I nursed my son and pumped after he finished (my every day routine). Normally, I get about .5-1 ounce on this first pump of the day. But I GOT 3 ounces! I didn’t expect to see any difference for a few days so I was so excited! I am still taking this every day. At this point in time, I am still working to see what dose works the best for me. I was taking 45 drops twice a day but found that I had a dip in supply around mid day. I am currently taking 30 drops 3 times daily and I think I am close. I only supplement one four ounce bottle a day now, as opposed to more than half of my sons feedings. I hope to get to the point where I can pump a little extra and start my freezer stash. With this product, I now see that as a REAL GOAL THAT I CAN ACHIEVE. Thank you so much!

I had been trying to breastfeed my son and pump to stock up for my return to work and felt I was not producing enough for both. I started a different capsule supplement that did help, but still was not getting me much (1/4-1/2 ounce when pumping). I ordered this supplement to try since I read that the body absorbs more of a liquid supplement than it does a capsule. I did 30 drops mid-day, the minimum dose. I like that I could do that twice a day if needed. On the third day I woke up to very full, hard breasts. I had not gotten to the point of fullness in weeks. I have now used it for nine days and I can pump and feed him comfortably. I can feed him and then pump and get one ounce, sometimes more. He will also come off the breast with milk on his face so I know he is getting plenty. I also began to leak from the breast he was not nursing from which I never did before (he was 6 weeks old at this point). I went from pumping one to two ounces a day to pumping 6-10 ounces a day. I have never tried it by itself, I always mix it in with juice and I do not taste it. I will be continuing this supplement through my breastfeeding journey.

I got this at the end of last week and I've had the chance to try it over the weekend and over the beginning of the week. This has actually worked for me and it took about 3 days for me to see the full effects of the product. Before I started using this supplement, I was seeing a decrease in my supply from my usual 5 oz per pump to 3-4 oz. After I used it, my body responded a little slow and I only got a few oz more, which was really what I initially expected. This was already good enough for me because it got back to my normal supply, and a little bit more, I was honestly content. On the third day though, I suddenly started seeing 7-8 oz per pump, which was completely beyond my expectations! To be honest, a 1 to 2 oz increase is already enough and I was happy with the product because I tried other products (cookies, pills) and they didn't work for me. During this time I also drank a lot more water in order to increase the content of water in my body. I found out that this seemed to help me, so I recommend drinking more water throughout the day!
