Q: What's the gph on each setting? What's the max height? Submerisble? Copper components? Safety shut off when clogged?

Submersible, yes. GPH and height are related. You have to use the static head chart to determine the values. Pretty sure the motor is comprised of copper wire, but it will not affect the water which is isolated from the motor.

Q: What thickness of glass is this good for???

Don't know specifically, but using one on about 3/16" glass. Would not be concerned with even thicker.

Q: I thought this pump was just released. Why are the reviews from 4 years ago?
