Walnut Hollow Pine River Road Signboard, 9 by 12 0.63-Inch

The quality of this piece is fine. It is quite sturdy and as well-made. However, be aware that if you are planning on staining it it will have knots much like the picture. It also will need light sanding. My original plan was to stain and put vinyl letters on the piece but I had to paint it first.

The quality of the wood is nice. I suggest that if you plan on painting this, that you might want to give it a slightly, smoother finish. If you plan on staining it, you should apply a coat of conditioner to give it a more uniform appearance. Occasionally a knoti might not be in a desirable location. For the most part,they are knot free. Personally, I like them.

This shows so well from the street. We kept having packages being delivered next door. It's hard to see numbers when mailbox is on other side of street :)

I used this as any outdoor sign on the house. It was easy to paint, stencil and on the pillar. Needed very little sanding before using.

Cute sign and nice wood. A little smaller than I thought it would be. I wouldn't pay $20 or more for this again, but I had a lot of fun using it for my pyrography 😊
