Got my dad this hat for Christmas, as he visits me in Florida for 3 months every winter. He’s had skin cancer 3 times (all melanomas and quite serious) and has to be incredibly careful to cover his skin when outside for any amount of time. He LOVES this hat. Says it’s the most comfortable piece of protective SPF clothing he owns, and really likes that it’s lightweight, breathable, moisture wicking, and folds down so he can store it in his pocket when he goes inside. He’s worn it every single day since receiving it, and hasn’t even gotten so much as the slightest amount of sun on his scalp or face…the brim is a little longer than most ball caps, so he can wear it without needing sunglasses, too. He’s ordering a few more colors for himself, and also for both of my uncles. 1000/10 recommend!

I really like this cap. The fabric is good quality, it well protects me from the sun, and travels well in luggage without getting damaged. After several days fishing and then a month in Spain/Portugal the cap still looks great. On a sunny day it feels light and cool on my head.Initially, I attached the chinstrap incorrectly, but once I figured that out, it holds very securely, which is important to me when I'm in a moving boat or a brisk wind. The design is also very versatile — very easy to remove and reattach the neck guard and face guard. No reservations and recommending!
