3MGlass Cloth Electrical Tape 69, White, 1" Width, 5 yds Length, 1 roll

I read another review on this product expressing concern that the packaging wasn't consistent with 3M. There is copy in the listing that addresses this, the seller is a reseller who repackages uncommon 3M tapes. This allows normies to get access to the product without having to buy 250 yards via a commercial supplier.I didn't want to trust them, so I bought this and a roll of Scotch 69 which is meant to be the same tape in a narrower width. Feel free to look both listings over.Anyway, the two products are identical. The weave pattern is identical, the tack of the adhesive is identical, the color is identical. Without a laboratory and a degree in some sort of chemical analysis, that's as far as I can get you.If this is counterfeit, then they put too much effort into it. They'd be better off just buying a huge roll from the manufacturer and repackaging it.

Very deceptive picture. The roll in the picture is six inches + across. The item delivered is "TWO inches in diameter!" The tape itself is excellent. The price doesn't matter to me but I still feel cheated.

Looking at the photo in the product description, I saw a 3M logo on the roll of tape. So, I assumed I was purchased a 3M product. But, I received an unlabeled roll of tape. Is it "3M Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 69?"Since I'm using this to repair an appliance, I'm concerned that it might have the temperature rating I expected from 3M 69. This is a serious safety issue.Feeling scammed. Maybe I'll return this and buy a product that I'm absolutely sure is the real thing.

this did not come in the usual 3m package, just a clear plastic bag, and the inner core that the tape is rolled upon, was totally white, with no 3m labeling (which is clearly shown on real 3m products). I am very concerned this is counterfeit, as it has NO 3m factory label or identification.
