This book is beautifully illustrated and has been bought as gifts for the children of friends who have suffered loss. The book has been helpful to the parents in dealing with their grief as well.

This is a lovely and beautifully written book that deals with a challenging subject in a very sensitive way. I highly recommend this positive and well written book to parents and children of all ages. Highly recommended!

An excellent book for exploring grief. Be prepared for a few tears though as this book taps into the fear, anger and processes of grief that we all go through even as adults.Highly recommended.

This book is truly magical, beautifully written, dealing with death in the most amazing, gentle and poignant way. Brought on a few tears (from me, not my daughter!) although ended with smiles and allowed us to talk about loss and ways to cope together. I highly recommend this uplifting book to parents and children of all ages - and a helpful tale to allow discussion of these sensitive issues whether coping with grief or not.

This series of books are beautifully written and illustrated and lead parents to take their children through the difficult and scary periods of their young lives safely and sympathetically. Simply a (sometimes tear jerking) joy to read and share with your kids.

Wow! This book is great for dealing with loosing a loved one but warning... keep tissues nearby! Brilliant illustrations.
